UVA Football II
It’s hard to believe that it had been three years since I last went to a UVA football game, and I hope to not wait so long for the next one. I managed to get seats on the 50 yard line, albeit almost as high as you can go at Scott Stadium. This was a great place to watch the game, at least for a person of my means, and it let me scratch that persistent symmetry itch with my photos. One of the highlights of the game for me was that when a video message from UVA’s embattled president Teresa Sullivan appeared on the jumbotron, the crowd burst into cheers of support for her.
Before the game, my wife and I had lunch downtown at Miller’s, where we met 10 years ago. They even happened to play “Ain’t No Sunshine”, which we first-danced to at our wedding. So it was a pretty great day.
And speaking of UVA, I’m honored to announce that my photo of the Jefferson Memorial is currently featured on the UVA Club of Washington’s website, DCHoos.org. Thanks folks!
