UVA Football
A good friend from college has season tickets for UVA football this year, but couldn’t make it to the opening game in Charlottesville this past weekend and I took his place. In the end it was a sad and frustrating loss that I won’t recount here, but it was great to be back in Charlottesville and particularly at UVA. Having lived in Charlottesville for a few years after graduating and developing a closer relationship to the city than to the campus, it was a fun change to step through the grounds like I used to and rediscover shortcuts that I’d forgotten. It was not a good day for football, but there was a great crowd of students and visitors and I managed to get some shots while they were still excited. I hope to make it back to Charlottesville soon for football or otherwise, and to share some more sides of the town.
