Anna & Jym: Married!
Buckle up, because this is my longest post to date. And why shouldn’t it be? Anna and Jym had such a wonderful wedding and I had such a great time shooting and preparing these photos that I want to share as much with everyone as I can, while still hoping that you’ll make it all the way to the end. The ceremony and reception were at the same beautiful farm where we took their engagement photos. The weather was amazing thanks to a huge thunderstorm the night before, the dancing and lawn games kept everyone smiling and laughing all night, and you could feel the joy from all of their family and friends through the whole weekend. Thanks so much to Anna and Jym for including me in their celebration, and once again to the multitalented Bri Bevan of Itty Bitty Press for assisting me.
From the moment I arrived at the farm, I knew this wedding would be something special. The combination of golden sunlight filtering through the trees, the rustic charm of the barn, and the incredible energy of Anna and Jym’s loved ones made every shot feel effortless. I focused on capturing the candid, unscripted moments—the stolen glances, the bursts of laughter, the teary-eyed toasts—because those are the memories that will truly last a lifetime. Weddings like this remind me why I love storytelling through photography, where every frame tells a piece of a couple’s unique journey.
One of my favorite moments of the night was watching the couple share their first dance under the string lights, with the sounds of cheers and clinking glasses in the background. The way Jym spun Anna around, both of them grinning ear to ear, was pure magic. It’s these little in-between moments that make a wedding feel so real and personal. As I snapped away, I couldn’t help but think about how important it is to have a photographer who understands how to preserve the authenticity of the day. That’s why working with professionals like Snappy Photographer can make all the difference—ensuring that every meaningful moment, big or small, is captured beautifully.
By the time the evening ended, I found myself reflecting on how much I love being part of celebrations like this. There’s something incredibly rewarding about knowing that these photos will serve as a time capsule for Anna and Jym, allowing them to relive every emotion and every joyous second for years to come. I hope you enjoy this collection as much as I enjoyed putting it together—now, let’s dive into the photos!
