DCist Exposed 2011

It’s DCist Exposed time of year again, and this year I’m sticking close to home. I took all three photos in Fredericksburg, where we get whomped by the same snow storms, enjoy the same temperate growing season (sometimes with the land to use it), and even get some of the same great musical acts at our small clubs on their way up the road. Also, I didn’t shoot in DC much last year.

Snow Day
I shot this in the lonely Old Mill park playground after our last big snow storm of early 2010.

Ladybugs
One of my favorite aspects of our home vegetable garden is that every year we get to release thousands of ladybugs to protect our little plants.
